OK OK I give in, I think I have to do a post on LE wedding. I might have let it slip by, barely audible, but since I have actually received an invitation (!), I have decided to let my inner patriotic british roots shout out, .....here we go; a not always reverent homage to what should be a glorious day.

While Kate's humble ancestry has been bared to the world,
I think that any girl who can face the thought of walking down this runway
with millions watching her world wide, deserves immediate respect,
And my invite? I'm sure you're wondering ..... Well I don't have to travel as far as the Abbey, since I have been invited to watch it live on satellite TV, at the home of a British friend here in Normandy. We shall sip champagne, nibble on cucumber sandwiches , drink tea and probably shed a royal tear. I may even wear a hat !

I got an invite too! I'll be watching at a friend's house, who will be having a wedding breakfast, since here in Canada, it will be in the wee hours of the morning! I love me a good wedding!

I'm with Enchanted Home, I want a piece of that cake!!! Love your invite. The wedding airs at 2 am here in Seattle. We girls have been toying in with the idea of a Royal Wedding slumber party, but it might make the work day a little challenging come 8 am Friday morning. Wish we in the States got a celebratory three-day weekend, too!

Here in Canada I will be asleep I hope. I can't imagine living amongst all the hype for the wedding. Life under a microscope will always show bugs.

What a pretty cup! All the commemorative "stuff" I have seen in the US news has been tacky, tacky, tacky, but that is pretty. worth having, even. Enjoy your luncheon. Altho it will be very early here, I have to been at work and will miss it all. But then that's why we have recording!
